Is Baba a real person?
Baba is a voice AI trained to sound warm, human, and emotionally engaging. While it’s not a live human caller, many families find it comforting & seniors enjoy chatting with it once they get used to it.
What if my resident doesn’t like technology?
When explaining Baba to a new user, we explain that they don't need any new technology since there's no logins, downloads, or new hardware needed. If they can answer a phone, they can use Baba.
Can Baba detect health issues?
Baba listens for subtle changes in voice, tone, and memory that may signal cognitive decline. If something seems off, we notify you immediately.
Can I customize the call topics?
Yes! During onboarding, you’ll be able to select initial topics to guide the conversation. From there, the discussion will adapt organically based on previous calls and the interests the user shows.
