We’re proud to announce a partnership with the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF), a national nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to breast health care for uninsured and underserved individuals. Together, we share a commitment to helping people find care and support without having to navigate the healthcare system alone.
ABCF works to remove the financial and practical barriers that can stand between someone and the care they need. Its Breast Cancer Assistance Program helps eligible individuals pay for screenings and diagnostic tests, including mammograms and breast ultrasounds. Through its Community Partnership Program, ABCF also works with clinics and healthcare organizations across the country to make these services available at reduced or no cost.
That support extends beyond testing. ABCF’s Education & Patient Advocacy Program works directly with individuals to connect them with resources in their communities, from support groups and post-surgical recovery services to help with transportation and living expenses. The foundation also provides educational resources to help people better understand breast health and their care.
For patients and families, finding support can still mean managing a long list of questions: Who can help schedule an appointment? What does insurance cover? How do you follow up on a referral? When someone is already worried about their health, coordinating those next steps can feel like a job of its own.
Our partnership brings together ABCF’s work in breast health access and Baba’s approach to care navigation. A dedicated Baba advocate can help patients and families coordinate appointments, communicate with providers, work through insurance questions, and connect with community resources. The goal is to give people someone in their corner who can help them understand their options and keep the next steps moving.
Baba’s team brings experience in nursing, social work, care coordination, and insurance navigation. We look at the whole person and the practical challenges around their care, so patients and families have support beyond any single appointment.
